Possible means something can happen or something is capable of happening; it also suggests there is potential or there is an existing possibility.
In the gospel of Matthew, after returning from Bethany, Jesus returns to the city along with his disciples and is hungry. He comes to a fig tree which appears to be bearing fruit, but there is none. When He finds there are no figs on the tree, He speaks to the tree, “Let no fruit grow henceforward forever”. In other words, He curses the tree. The bible is clear the tree immediately withers away. His disciples, astonished and shock could not understand how quickly the tree withered away. Jesus responded by saying, “Verily I say unto you, if ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this, which is done, to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done”.
Mountains are synonymous with problems, situations and other life matters that come in our lives to distort our faith and get us off course. But Jesus says something that will undoubtedly change your life, change every situation you may face, change every doubt and fear. He says in verse 22, “And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive”. To believe means to have trust, to have confidence, to know beyond any doubt that whatever you ask in faith, the substance of what you are hoping for, is possible. It does not matter what you are facing, if you can believe, God can change it immediately for you.
Be encouraged my brothers and my sisters knowing there is nothing too hard for God. Remember: God specializes in things that seem impossible and He can do what no other POWER can do! There is a possibility of change just for YOU! Believe it!
